Course gives practical knowledge about collecting, analyzing and presenting archaeological data by using a spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), presentation of research results in the form of a text document (Microsoft Word), presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint) or web page, use the tools database (Microsoft Access, AZP_MAX, relational databases), development of graphical data (CorelDRAW, Photoshop), development of geophysical data (Geoplot, Surfer, Snuffler), matters relating to GIS (MapInfo), analysis of aerial photographs (AirPhoto). |

Student: 1) gains the basic knowledge about application of computer tools in archaeological research, 2) gains the understanding of pros and cons of each methods, 3) gains the skills necessary to collecting, analyzing and presenting data in various forms. |
