Full description: |
The aim of this course is to develop students’ understanding of the relationship between multiple languages and the processes taking place in the brain and mind of a bilingual/multilingual speaker. During the course students will get to know methods used in psycholinguistic research and will learn to interpret results obtained with the use of these methods. At the end of course, students should be able to: list major processes involved in bilingual/multilingual language processing and storage, describe methods used to experimentally test hypotheses in psycholinguistics of bilingualism and multilingualism as well as describe theoretical models of lexical organization and processing both in bilingual and in multilingual contexts. |
