The course introduces fundamental information about the lithuanian literature since XIX till the early beginnings of XX century. |

Student: - has the main knowledge of the history of literature of this period - can name and analyse the main trends and literary genre of this time - is able to analyse and knows main literary works and artists of this epoque - can work individualy, preparing speaches, presentations and with the group of people - is able to take part in discussion - understands the specific role of folklore and tradition in developement of every literature process |

after successefully finishing the course, the student: - has the main knowledge of the history of literature of this period - can name and analyse the main trends and literary genre of this time - is able to analyse and knows main literary works and artists of this epoque - can work individualy, preparing speaches, presentations and with the group of people - is able to take part in discussion - understands the specific role of folklore and tradition in developement of every literature process |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
Active participation in the course. Passing the final test; writing a term essay on a selected topic. The final grade based on the result of a written and oral exam. (<61% - ndst, 61-70% dst, 71-75% dst+, 76-85% db, 86-90% db+, 91%< bdb) |
