Providing classical sociological theories and teaching the abilities of transforming them into tools for cognition of contemporary world.

Students should be able to:

1) Prepare abstracts of every text on their own

2) Select theoretically and practically significant parts of the text

3) Analyze them critically

4) Evaluate their adequacy

5) Confront them with empirical reality

6) Transform theoretical structures by changing the range of their generality

7) Apply them to other aspects of reality than the author did.
