Short description:	Issues concerning the origin of social policy, social policy models, social policy organization (subjects and tools of social policy), chosen social issues such as poverty, unemployment, disability. Issues concerning demographic conditioning of social policy, social policy on family, social functions of working place.
Full description:	Introducing students to the origin and development of social policy as a branch of science and a practical activity directed to analyzing social issues and presenting the change of meeting social needs resulting from social, economical and political changes. After completing the course students should define and recognize state and non state actors as well as social policy tools aimed to meet social needs.
