Full description:	The work of the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) has been lauded internationally. In this course, students are introduced to problems related to reconciliation in war-torn societies all over the world, the establishment of the TRC in South Africa after the first democratic elections in the 1990’s and its outcome. The reflection of the TRC in South African fiction will be discussed.
