Provide knowledge about basic concepts related to coaching and its types (business-coaching, life-coaching, parental coaching).

Discussion of models, methods, techniques and tools used in coaching

To familiarize students with the principles of applying the coaching approach in designing sociotherapeutic interactions

Preparation for designing, conducting and evaluating coaching sessions in the field of sociotherapy

Short description:

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the knowledge of the possibilities of applying coaching methods, techniques and tools in sociotherapeutic work

Full description:

1. Historical outline of coaching.

2. Types and definitions of coaching,

3. Areas of application of coaching, in particular in the field of sociotherapy

4. The goals of coaching, including coaching in sociotherapy

5. Roles and tasks of coaches. Coach's competences.

6. Differences between a coach and a counselor, therapist, trainer,

7. Coaching models (e.g. GROW) and ways of formulating a goal (e.g. SMART) and their application in the field of sociotherapy

8. Methods, techniques, tools used in coaching (eg value wheel, aphorisms, timeline, resource anchoring).

9. Coaching according to T. Gallwey's internal game model and parental coaching

10. The practice of theory - the use of coaching in sociotherapy.

explain the scope and purpose of coaching activities, describe the specific nature of coaching in the sociotherapy

exchange relationships and differences between coaching, psychotherapy, counseling

point out the rules for the organization, capabilities and limitations of the use of coaching, sociotherapy in particular,

construct a sample coaching sessions, including the ethical principles

conduct coaching meeting, depending on the needs of the customer with the principles of ethical
