Learning outcomes: |
Students can understand long and complex factual and literary texts, even when meanings are only implied. They can understand extended factual and literary speech even when content is not signaled explicitly. Students can use language flexibly and effectively for social and professional purposes, also with natives. They can select style appropriate to context with precision and attention to statement correctness. Students can write clear and cohesive text, in broad range of topics, with attention to linguistic correctness. They can use written forms with style appropriate to a given context, skilfully and correctly using linking words. Students have extended knowledge about English speaking countries. |
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: |
In order to complete the course, students need to pass all tests, deliver oral presentations and write essays. It is possible to have two absences per term. Final grade depends on the final exam result. |
