Short description:	The aim of course is acquaintance with main orientations in Greek philosophy: its early phase, sophistic movements, problem of Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and Hellenistic period.
Full description:	Students gain ability to comprehend philosophical works and scientific papers from history of philosophy; summarize and comment scholarly articles; to use properly basic philosophical terminology; prepare in class oral presentations; conduct the library research; contextualize acquired knowledge; compare different concepts of interpretations; summarize discussions and draw conclusions; ability to analyze philosophical text based on difference between historical interpretation and adaptive one.
